Arnica (Arnica montana) is well-known for its analgesic abilities to ease swelling, bruising and pain due to injury or trauma. It’s also a resolvent for pulled muscles and ligaments and treating arthritic joints. I also added comfrey to the mix for its own healing abilities. Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) has been used historically to aid in the healing of injuries, first for the minerals it contains that are needed for healing, as well as containing allantoin, which stimulates cell growth.
